The Protein Ball Co.
energy balls for real people
The Protein Ball Co. Story
The Protein Ball Co was founded by husband and wife team Matt and Hayley Hunt in October 2015. This was their second foray into the snack market after successfully launching the OLOVES olive brand.
Their inspiration came from their own hunger for a clean, healthy protein source in a grab-and-go form which had gone unsatiated.
When you think the word "protein" you often think about bodybuilders and drinks shakes.
The Protein Ball Co. want to change that perception by making protein accessible to anyone who is looking to add more protein into their balanced diet.
And they are proving a popular hit. The Protein Co. have recently rolled (everything is rolled by hand) their one millionth ball.
Location: Worthing, Sussex
What is actually in each ball?
Each and every one of the balls contains 100% natural protein, and they use three different types of protein inside;
- whey (from grass fed cows)
- egg whites
- rice and pea - which are suitable for vegans
All of the range is gluten, soy, sugar, and wheat free, and they are all suitable for vegetarians. In fact, up to 22% of the make up of each ball is pure protein.
Each and every ball is also hand rolled in their Sussex site, so nothing but goodness.
