The Clearly Scrumptious Story
Clearly Scrumptious was thought up by Rick and James during marathon mountain training. Whilst running in the Lake District hills, they found it incredibly difficult to get a hold of nutritious foods to enhance their training.
Dried fruit is something they have always found particularly hard to source, even harder than their training.
“The dried fruit we found lacked in flavour and was packed with sugar. It barely resembled fruit at all. We couldn’t believe that it contained sulphur dioxide and glucose syrup too! It was also always in large bags - not suited for our lifestyle.”
After a spot of market research (aka asking their friends and family), they discovered that people were hungry for healthy office snacks too. So, fuelled by a desire to solve their problem and those of their friends, they founded Clearly Scrumptious.
“We wanted fruit that tasted like a treat so we wouldn’t be tempted to reach for the unhealthy option. If it were in single portions that could be eaten on the mountain or at your desk, free from Gluten, Wheat, Dairy and Sulphites, then everyone would enjoy them.
Now wouldn’t that be a snack?”
In December 2012, Rick and James had perfected such a snack and launched their range.
It includes:

- Juicy Cranberries
- Tangy Golden Berries
- Sweet Strawberries
Clearly Scrumptious are a healthy part of your balanced snack diet.
We deliver these dried fruit bags within the Office Pantry snack packs on a rotating basis. Remember that, as a customer, you can tailor your contents by giving us your feedback.
