Susan and Darren, both of whom have extensive knowledge of both the food and drinks trade, set up nibnibs in 2012.

Their mission was to create an ideal pairing for a glass of wine.

Breadsticks are that perfect pairing. Light in your stomach but deliciously moreish, this snack is perfect for avoiding those 3pm hunger grumbles.

How are nibnibs made?

Susan and Darren were taught the art of "grissini", as it is known in Italy, from Italians using an old Italian recipe.

The breadsticks themselves are bitesized (to avoid any messy crumbs mixing with your crucial keyboard keys), and flavoured very simply with fresh basil, garlic and cheese to create that pesto flavour.

All of the ingredients are natural and the Extra Virgin Olive Oil addition means you know this is a quality snack.

The dough is prepared in small batches, bringing a little bit of Italy to the UK, via Yorkshire.

The bags are just 25g, which is perfect for an individual serving.

nibnibs are currently available in Pesto flavour.
